The much-anticipated discounted Metropasses for post-secondary students in Toronto will be available for purchase starting next week.
Students will need to get a post-secondary TTC student photo ID in order to use the discounted Metropass. The passes are available for $99, which is $22 dollars less than the regular $121 Metropass.
Whoo! Finally some sort of discount for post-secondary students. Even though it’s only $22 less than the regular, but, say if you’re on a 4-month work term, that’s already $88 saved in your pockets. For a full year, that’s $264 saved. I’d say that’s a pretty substantial amount.
Kudos for TTC for doing something right. Now, onto the smart card system..
I love his artwork. There are so many elements in his paintings. I love how I get to discover something new everytime I look at it, even if it’s the same painting.
One day… one day, I’ll purchase one of his pieces.
I didn’t know my WordPress’ Press This button wasn’t working properly until I googled it. And now, it’s fixed! Because I rarely use the WYSIWYG editor to blog, I had it disabled under the user profile. Turns out this was the reason why images wouldn’t insert properly when I use Press This – the wordpress native quick poster. Once I enabled the option, everything works magnificently!
It’s going to make this blog more tumblr-like than ever! Short, spicy posts about awesome things!
“What the… I swear I left that right there just a second ago!?”
We’ve all said that in the past, right? Something that we thought was safely put somewhere is gone all of the sudden. We want to think that somebody took it…but nobody is going to admit that they stole something from you…Well, the next time you think you lost some of your spare change, you may just have one strong suspect…Check out the video!
HOW CUTE IS THIS?! so much better than the other face bank. And that meow? *falls over*
The D-O-Double Gee, responsible for such chart classics as Gin and Juice, What’s My Name? and Drop It Like It’s Hot, popped into SeaWorld San Diego with his family while he was in the city for a concert.
Clyde the blinged-out sea lion wasn’t the only resident of the marine-life park to roll with the legendary rapper, either – the venue’s Otter Stadium also got a visit from the Doggfather.
Wow. What more can I say? It’s Snoop and a gangster seal.
A cake that requires no baking! A fun summer activity for children. You can chill this for a couple hours before serving, but for best results, consume cake the same day you make it.
* 1 small, red, seedless watermelon (about 10 pounds)
* 2 cups Lemon Lowfat Mountain High Yoghurt
* 1 8-ounce tub whipped topping
* 1 pint strawberries
* ½ pint blueberries
* ½ pint raspberries
This looks amaaaaazing. Tempted to try this at home!
had a bit of spare time today (actually, a lot of spare time). Pulled out Picasa and my trusty built-in webcam and went a bit crazy! Didn’t even have to use Photoshop to put the pictures together. I simply selected 4 pictures and used the Create>Collage>Grid feature in Picasa. Voila! Instant photobooth results!
