It was such a gorgeous day. Looking pretty for the camera. Yay for being so tanned! Yes, my mom is pretty emo/cool. Whalessss! More whales! They were SO close to the boat, not afraid at all. Two whales together! THey are absolutely magnificent animals. We also saw about 10 dolphins just skipping around earlier. Too cute! After whale watching, we went to Salem - the Witch town. Hm. This town really wasn't all that interesting, though they really played up on the alleged witch killings. *shrugs* Here's a nice fountain in the middle of the city square. Finally in Boston again! Dinner @ Quincy Market. This place is just way too cute. And way packed with yummylicous! View from up top. There was quite a bit of street performers this day. I also managed to shop at bit at the 'typical' stores (ie. AE, Banana Republic). I picked up the AE dress that I was gonna buy online. Win-win situation? I think so! This guy is hilarious! He had a Michael Cera kind of awkwardness to him. Pretty funny guy! Wish I had time to finish up his set. After Quincy Market, we visited MIT. Didn't have time to explore, but it seemed pretty cool. The first day of Boston!]]> Mom + Jason @ the second pit stop of day! It was pretty much mid-afternoon when we got here. The trip was much delayed in the morning because the bus' air conditioning wasn't working properly. Crossing the border also took longer than usual because of non-Canadian residents. oh wells! First attraction was New York State's capital, Albany! Here's the Empire State Plaza. It's pretty intense here. Heard they spent tons of money building this to impress the Dutch queen. These really cool yellow hoop thingies. The Egg @ Empire State Plaza. Can you guess what it is? It's a theatre! Pretty cool. Chinatown @ Boston! I forgot about this place... even though it\'s only a room away from the kitchen.]]> Good time to wake up on a bright sunny Saturday morning. =] Shower time! The big pink jar is the Flake Away Scrub from Soap and Glory. It smells absolutely delicious and it leaves your skin baby smooth! Mmhmm.... my breakfast! I know, it's just a glass of soy milk, but it's THE best soy milk on earth. The reason for such a light breakfast is that I need to prepare for the fun-ness of the rest of day! Put on my eyes and face. All dressed and ready to go any second! I ended up chatting with Derek while waiting for Ori, just like any other day. Google talk love! Ori promptly showd up at 11am! Looking all spiffy in her new sunglasses, she shared all sort of (shopping) stories from her recent NY trip. Now she made me want to go to NYC all over again! Our destination of the day: St. Jacob's Farmer's Market! Loads of people and loads more food. Fresh produce was EVERYWHERE. These two happy veggies pretty much wandered into every stand to check out what's fresh. I came home a bit after 1pm with tons of yummilicious. Strawberries, cherries, bell peppers, tomatoes, zuchini AND onions! The fruits are so incredibily fresh... I think I ate about a quarter of what I bought while wandering at St. Jacob's. Time for some Google Reader action! Man, all that fun stuff really tired this sickee. Took a nap... a good 3 hour nap. Woke up a bit after 5pm and got right back to what I was doing pre-nap time. I tried out this cute long-T that Ori got me from Uniqlo. I love it! haha I made quite a few different outfits with this T. After the hour-and-a-half long dentist appointment, we went for some dumplings+korean food place nearly. So full! A saturday is not complete unless T&T is involved! The Middlefield location had these wheely baskets. I was amused. Dolled up for the afternoon/evening festivities. I had free tickets to see Toronto Rock vs Edmonton Rush. Of course I invited Derek to go to my very first sporting event. The game itself was pretty intense. Lots of smacking with the stick and not a lot of fighting. 9 Spicy Avocado Roll This was pretty good, although it was wrapped loose. Vegetarian Saishoku ... which was just like stir-fried veggies. haha The chef was so cute. He even smiled for my picture! Royal York Honey and Yuzu Pot de Crème White Chocolate and Apricot Biscotti The dessert... was kinda thick. Gloria + Venus: the only high school girls that came. SO surreal to be at the concert. LMAO. I can't get over his bubble butt. Leehom and THE guitar. I love the design on the side. That grungy type of feel. It doesn't hurt that Leehom is crooning love songs on the side. SO close to Leehom. Could've jumped him if I wanted.... but I'm a classy lass, so I didn't. ;] I absolutely love this shirt. Asin from Mayday designed it for him. He's abolutely larger than life. The Hand that touched Leehom. Kosin lurking around a stupid picture of Debbie and me. WIN! absolutely epic. 15 bucks for our cab ride back to MGM. Debbie can't get enough of Leehom. Waking up bright and early Sunday morning for a brisk walk along the strip. Me + Mr. M&M. Look at him blush at the sight of me! We met up with Elly (and not pictured - Kosin and MJ) for lunch buffet at Wynn. Slowest horizontal escalators. EVER.
