First day of work!
First day of work! exciting!

Arthur (who I am replacing) also knows one of my buddies, Jonathan. They lived together in rez first year. What a coincidence! So we called him out for lunch at Mercatto. The pizza there was amazing. Thin-crust. Made to order and a decent portion too. I had the Funghi Misti – which had mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, Taleggio cheese & truffle oil. So good. It’s kinda pricy, but it’s definitely a splurge place once in a while.

Niles' house
Move-out day!

Whoo! Here’s me picking up Niles from his house. It’s our big day for the summer. Moving eeeeeverything out from our place on Lester.

It was a pretty long day. Man, moving is hard. We carried my bedframe to Warren’s house. That hunk-of-a-thing is heavy! But it’s still easier than moving it back to my house in Markham. Anyways, successful move-out! Now, I just need to move everything and unpack it in Markham. One day, it’ll be done.

End of summer barbeque
End of summer barbeque!

Morgan volunteered (or maybe pushed?) to work at the barbeque for us. Mmhmm… and thanks to Ivy, we had some amazing food! Shrimp skewers, garden salad, grilled veggies! Delish!

upgraded!
Upgraded!

Done and done. Putting in new RAM was super easy. Took about 10 minutes or so (would’ve took less if I snapped it in securely the first time!). Otherwise, it was a great success!

Whoo! Go me!

AsianAvenue?
Old-school AsianAvenue shirt

This morning, I went dim-summing at Peach Tree with a few of the highschoolers, Nathan, Ricky and Venus. This group is so jokes. Anyways, we’re just doing our thing.. which is eating. And then in sat this old man, maybe in his early 50s, wearing an AA shirt! What the heck? I remember using AA back in grade 8? Like a looooong time ago. It’s pretty much where I picked up HTML and all that fun stuff. Good times.

Anyways, after dim sum, we went over to Pacific Mall to pick up Alex and Gloria and drop of Nathan. Then we all went to Yorkdale (I drove!). We arrived safely and just did a quick shopping tour. Yay! fun!

Ricepaper
Dinner at Rice Paper Thai/Viet Cuisine
It’s an AYCE Japanese/Thai/Viet place. It has a really nice atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t super busy. The servers were very friendly and service was really quick. They don’t have a huge vegetarian menu, but the typical japanese/thai/viet menus are pretty heavy on the meat.

Hm. Pretty much DS-ed all day. I am absolutely in love with this game – Rittai Picross. It’s in 3D and it’s in Japanese! Totally addictive. Recommend it anyone who loves math games and picross!

Aaron Kwok on TV
Aaron Kwok on TV

Whew! Just spent the last couple of hours updating the site. Finally got it down! =]

Fairchild TV had the Taiwan fundraiser on… and this dude pops up. I used to love him when I was a kid. Met him… and he was an asshole. I know Asians don’t really age, but damn! He seriously didn’t age.
