That sucks.

Grad pictures!
Anyways, so I tamed my hair and did my make-up, as I was walking to school, half-way through it started POURING. hard. Urgh. Thankfully, I had my umbrella, but I wasn’t entirely shielded from the rain. I got there on time, even though my jeans were soaking wet and my hair was a mess.
Bleh. The photos get mailed to my house in 2 weeks… hopefully, they’ll look half decent. Or else I’ll have to do it all over again… in winter.

After a super fun weekend, it’s time to head back to Waterloo and chug chug chug along with the studying!
Osteria Ciceri e Tria
Osteria Ciceri e Tria is this tiny little Italian place. Pretty cool. I had the appetizer sampler + a ‘primo’ (which is like a lighter entree). The appetizers were… small. Two or three bites. But we were surprised at how full we were after the entire meal. For my ‘primo’, I had the Spaghettini with the King Prawn. It was really good, albeit a tad too salty for my taste. The price was also not that bad. Overall, definitely a very impressive place.
C’est What is awesome. I had the hazelnut brownie…. absolutely to die for. The perfect blend of warm hazelnutty brownie and cold ice cream. Bonus on the fact that the brownie wasn’t overly sweet or hard. Just the right amount of chewiness. Will definitely have to come back more for this.

Finally heading home after a gruelling week (of fun!).
Plus, Derek’s home after almost 2-weeks of BC. =]

We are too lazy to change subjects every day, please buy our products
Well, at least they’re honest about it.

Did I mention studying outside is the best?
It was too gorgeous of a day to not just be outside.
Hmm… Derek remains pretty awesome.
And Bomber stays pretty chill.

Adventuring on campus!
Sarah just casually hinted that the midnight premiere of Transformers 2 was happening at Connestoga Mall. Being the techie that I am, I whipped out my computer and we tried to get tickets for the movie. Aaaaaaaand it was sold out. Boo.
We continued our old-school Beck Hall adventure! Naturally, we went to the sketchy old Waterloo Park. Did I mention this park only gets sketchier at night? Unbelievable. We hung out by the swings for a bit. After a good half an hour, Cathleen and I admitted that we’re old…. swinging on swings never felt any worse than before. Damn these old bones. xP

The Pirate’s Dilemma
Just looking at the title, it’s pretty obvious why it caught my eye. But ths is a different kind of ‘argggg’ pirate, we’re talking about the internet priate. The same pirates who run ThePirateBay.org and the million other ones downloading on the internet. It’s all the young’uns doing it… they’re pretty much growing up expecting things to be free and how the youth culture now is changing how things work. They’re changing the business models and all that good stuff.
For all the pirates out there, you can download the book for free here.

Mmhmm… lobsters!
The family went out for dinner at Tako Sushi for their Teppanyaki. My mom really likes the place. It’s pretty far for us, but we still make the trek here anyways. We had the lobster special (can’t find the menu on the site). Instead of two cooked lobsters, we had one cooked and the other as sashimi. Personally, I liked the cooked one more. The raw one was just a bit too… slimey for my taste. Either way, the meal was absolute delish. Really recommend this place.
