Oh, It's Love…

On the day of the last pay cheque from OTPP, a couple of the 4th-floor lunchers and I got together for dinner. Obviously, we had to get Korean food, just like Yonge and Finch. We met up at Seoul Soul. The food was decent. I ordered a bimbibap. Mistakenly, I thought it came in the hot stone pot. Huge disappointment. It came in a plastic bowl. No crispy rice for me.

Afterwards, people had to class/do assignments. So Johnny, Ivan and I headed out for some Marble Slab ice-cream. We shared a vanilla waffle bowl with coffee crisp and almond bits. It was pretty yummy, except the waffle bowl was a little bit stale. *sighhhh* Those things are so expensive. Broke by Marble Slab.

I always forget how tasty the sandwiches from MC are. They’re also not overpriced like the cafe at DC, which is always a bonus.

Hitched a ride from Charlie to get back to Waterloo. Turns out his roomies (ie. 3 of the kiddie engineers) were having a drinking party! Hurrah for drinking games! Everybody eventually showed up. Candy brought this amazingly good Riesling from France (I think). Must try!

New term means time to look for a co-op job! Jobmine opened today… lots of resume writing to come!

I saw on facebook that a new Tea Shop 168 opened up in Waterloo Plaza last night. Of course, today I grabbed Niles to go with me before I had to head out for class. Turns out, Tea Shop 168 took over Juice Goose! I didn’t even have a chance to try out that place. Anyways, the service there was REALLY slow. We were there lining up for 5 minutes or so, and I think they served one or 2 customers. Niles and I just didn’t want to wait that long so we headed over to the trusty Sweet Dreams teashop. They can never fail! <3!
